Mom always their good and bad times. Help me out all the time.  When I needed to talk she had answers and when I came out we had a very good time.  She got sick and called me baby, made me sleep with her.  Mom never gave up on us.  She loved it in the country on the farm.  She would try to get me to help with the garden and I would ball up on the side of the garden as a kid.

My wonderful Mom,

Mom was always my “Rock” for sound advice for when I needed her for Life’s challenges, parenting, relationship advice, and a blast to vacation with. I will always remember my “Country Girl Mom”, whose strength as parent and woman set the bar pretty high to follow. Mom always gave more than she ever expected in return whose tolerance and forgiveness is a True Blessing I will always treasure. Mom’s visits to our family in California both at times of need and the fun vacation trips made many lasting great memories for Kim, Greg, Sean and I to hold onto. I admire Mom most for her Leadership as the Matriarch of the entire family who I will deeply miss. In the last few years Mom’s incredible calmness and Peacefulness really helped us especially with her transition to Heaven…

Bye bye Mom for now, see you again in Heaven…. Love you….Paul

Paul Reid (Middle Son)

My mom

Fay Rowland is the most amazing, kind, loving, giving and selfless person I have ever had the privilege to know and proudly call my momma. Never have I ever experienced such a tremendous loss so great in my life. She taught me so much, even up to the very last beat of her ever loving heart. Never have I had someone that was in my corner more than she. Even when things in my life were really tough she would say “Michael I am so proud of the person you have become” and somehow that made it all better. My mom made sense of this life on earth for me and and so many others. She will be greatly missed until we see each other again.

To borrow a saying from Pastor Adam Hamilton “The worst thing is never the last thing, and I’m counting on it” will keep me, my family and so many others moving forward and maintaining our faith.

God bless your soul Nelma Fay Rowland. Father you just received an amazing angel into your Kingdom

Mike Reid (Youngest Son)
