Nick Hrnyak, Jr.

Nick Hrnyak Jr., age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Friday, July 20, 2012. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 19, 1948 the son of Nick Sr. and Eleanor (Grdina) Hrnyak. Nick married his beloved wife Laura on August 6, 2004. He spent 39 years as an educator and built a successful family business. Nick was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time in Florida and on his boat. To know Nick was to love him because he never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Laura (Schottelkotte) Hrnyak; children, Rachel (Kevin Wilhelm) Hrnyak, Bo (Jaime) Hrnyak, Mike (Genna) Stammer, Ashley Stammer and Christopher Stammer; brother, Michael (Toni) Hrnyak; grandchildren, Olivia and Nicholas Hrnyak, and Everett Stammer; and a niece and nephew, Nicolette and Michael Hrnyak. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Susan Hrnyak and Patricia Cady.

The family will be receiving friends from 4pm until time of Memorial Celebration (7pm), Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at the Wilson Middle School Gymnasium, 714 Eaton Avenue. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Nick’s name to a charity of your choice.
