Nina Harris

Nina P. Harris (House), age 92 of Hanover Township, died at her home on Sunday, October 12, 2025 . Nina was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on September 25, 1933 to Chester House and Della (Cunigan) House. She married Denver Lee Harris of Kentucky in 1954, and he had passed away in 1992. Denver and Nina had 10 children. She was a great, hardworking wife and mother who devoted her life to her family and God.

Denver and Nina had 10 children, Daphne of Kentucky (Denver’s previous marriage), Roy (Toni), Darlene, Doug (Linda), Darrell (Theresa), Arlene, Glenn (Sherry), Kathy (Mo), Chris (Anita) and Dexter. Daphne, Darlene and Dexter have preceeded her in death. Nina had 18 grandkids, 41 great-grandkids, 11 great-great-grandkids. Several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Nina was preceeded in death by 11 brothers and sisters, Bennie, Andrew, Herstle, Roy, Sammy, Sherman, Dorothy Thompson, Ida Whicker, Shirley Hines, Elsie Begley, and Edith House. She was preceeded in death by her grandson, Austin and granddaughter, Nicole.

Nina is also survived by a dear nephew, Bill Begley and wife Louise and kids. And nephew JB.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
