Nina Smith

Nina Smith, age 84 of Miltonville, went home to be with the Lord at Atrium Medical Center on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 10:05 PM. She was born in Oneida, Kentucky on August 16, 1923 the daughter of Claude and Mary (Hicks) Spurlock. On March 5, 1942 in Covington, Kentucky she married Earl Smith who preceded her in death in 2001.

She is survived by four sons, Earl (Pam) Smith, Jr. of Alabama, Elmer Smith of Miltonville, Merle (Tina) Smith of Hamilton, and Donald Clark of Miltonville; two daughters, Patty (Glenn) Hibbard of Hamilton and Donna (Earl) Gabbard of Trenton; one sister, Mabel Hensley of Kentucky; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Brenda Clemons and Barbara Turner; two grandchildren, Clinton Greg Turner and Kristy Renee Gabbard; one great-granddaughter, Barbara Catlyn Turner; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Home, on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Frank Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Today, Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
