Nora Davidson

Nora Davidson, age 95 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Nora was born in Onieda, Kentucky on December 29, 1929 to Green and Ollie Mae Bowling. On September 27, 1947, she married the love of her life, Clinton Davidson. Together they had two children, Lonnie and Brenda; and their grandson, Ryan. Nora owned and operated Nora’s Beauty Shop on Pleasant Avenue for many years. She was a member of Morning Star Christian Fellowship Church. Nora enjoyed boating and fishing with her husband.

Nora is survived by her son, Lonnie Davidson (Vicki Baker); her brother, Ledford (the late Mary) Bowling; her sister-in-law, Helen Kay (Dan) Carr; her niece, Verta (Tom) McComas; her previous son-in-law, Bobby (Sharon) Goins; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 74 years, Clinton Davidson; her daughter, Brenda Goins; her grandson, Ryan Goins; and her siblings, Gillis Bowling, Cecil Bowling, Verta Langdon, Bertha Javery, Ezell DeMoss and Opal Hibbard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Morning Star Christian Fellowship Church, 200 Belle Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Funeral service will be held at the church at 12:00 PM with Pastor Ron Howard officiating.  Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
