Nora Hartman

Nora G. Hartman, age 86 of Hamilton, went to her heavenly home and was reunited with the love of her life, her husband Vernon, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Nora was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on August 5, 1939 to Arnold Angel and Lofamia (Brock) Angel. She loved her family and her dog, Buttons, with a passion. Nora enjoyed cheering on her favorite sports teams; The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as sitting on her back patio with a cup of coffee, admiring her flower garden and watching the hummingbirds.

Nora is survived by her children, Cindi (John) Bowman, Vern (Connie) Hartman III, Wendy (Mark) Tuttle and Nicole (Arnold Duncan) Thomas; grandchildren, Andrea (John), Justin (Leslie), Ashley (Cody), Austin (Briana), Storm (Blaine), Arnold III, Kayla and Gracie; great-grandchildren, Justin, Lindsey, Skyelar, Railynn, Lilli, Starrla, Angel, Sophia, River, Olivia, Brooks, Akira, Ada, Brynlee, Nash, Lottie and Alexia; siblings, Judy Philpot and Roger Angel; her in-laws, Joy (Bucky) Hall, Janet (Ronnie) Reliford and Joe (Debbie) Hartman; several loving nieces and nephews; special friends, Gary and Kay Short; and her loving church family. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Lofamia Angel; her husband of 65 years, Vernon Hartman; siblings, LG, James, Art, Deanie, Irene and Jo Carol; and her grandson, Tyler Tuttle.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, ASAN (Autistic Self Advocacy Network) or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
