Norma Parker

May 7, 1918 — December 20, 2010

Norma Parker, born May, 1918 was carried peacefully into Heaven on December 20, 2010 with her family by her side. She was one of eleven children born to the late James and Mae Prewitt. Norma often told sweet stories of growing up with her beloved sisters and brothers. She leaves behind sisters Myrtle, Edna, and Aileen and brothers Raymond, Willard, Herman, and James. Cherished deceased sister was Flora and brothers were Lloyd and Howard. Norma was the beloved wife of the late Jack Parker for 57 years.

She will always be remembered and loved by her devoted children and in-laws, who were her best friends---James Parker (Ruth), Phyllis Witt (Donald), Carol Downey (Jim), Pamela Hudson (John). Norma longed for the day she would again see her deceased daughter, Jacqueline Thomas. Norma loved and treasured her grandchildren Jane, Karen, Brian, Donna, Don, Rhonda, Jill, Jim, Ryan, and Sarah. She will also be sadly missed by her adoring great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchild, many of whom were by her side as she entered Heaven. Norma loved sharing the love of God and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a faithful member of Princeton Pike Church of God and later Full Gospel Assembly, where her brother James Prewitt was her pastor. We will always cherish her favorite scripture, John 14:1-4. Norma would have us remember: Know Jesus, live, walk, trust and rest in Him. Her faith and devoted walk with God will live on in the lives of her countless family members and friends who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at Full Gospel Assembly, 11850 Lebanon Road, Loveland, Ohio 45140 at 11:00 AM with Pastors James and Tim Prewitt officiating.
