Oma Grubb

Oma Grubb, age 88 of Hamilton passed away at Huntington Court on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 12:10 AM. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on June 22, 1924 the daughter of James and Mary Jane (Hoskins) Baker. In August, 1946 in Manchester, she married Oscar Grubb, and he preceded her in death in 1978.

She is survived by four sons, Gary (Karenetta) Grubb, Jimmy Grubb, Tim (Sheri) Grubb, and Mark Grubb, all of Hamilton; four daughters, Phyllis (Robert) Lipps, Rhonda Grubb, Carolyn Soliday, and Angela (Todd) Preston, all of Hamilton; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Tracy Grubb and Thomas Grubb; two brothers, Matt and Raleigh Grubb; and four sisters, Ollie Mae Bates, Ora Combs, Myrtle Wilson, and America Webb.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jerry Pascarella of Pentecostal Highway of Holiness officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
