Ora Hart

Ora Hart, age 90 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 5:04 AM. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky on September 29, 1921 the daughter of James P. and Mary S. (Inman) Mitchell. Ora was a 1941 graduate of Lynn Camp High School. On February 5, 1944 in Corbin, Kentucky she married Walter D. Hart and he preceded her in death in 2007.

She is survived by five children, Linda Marie (Galyin) Sherman of Fairfield, Floyd Michael (Deborah Cook) Hart of Hamilton, Deborah Elaine (Stan) Geisler of Hanover Township, Mitchell Stephen Hart of Hamilton, and Rebecca Michell (Jeff) Helton of Fairfield; ten grandchildren, Nathan, Thomas, Bridgette, Amber, Jim (Tonya), Debby Dew (Dan), Jeffrey (Wayne), Steve, Samantha, and Hannah; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Hailey, Michael, and Jonah; six honorary grandchildren, Chris, Ryan, Jessica, Nick, Melissa, and Laura; an honorary daughter, Patty Gschwender of Fairfield; and special neighbors, Linda and Lisa Black; She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Lee Hart; daughter-in-law, Sue Hart; and eight siblings, Austin, Lando, Lloyd "Brownie", Floyd Leland, and Flossie Mitchell, Flora Nancy Bentley, Marie Hart, and Carrie Virginia Coffey.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM with her grandson, Steve Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, staff, and especially the nurses on 3 Tower at Mercy Fairfield Hospital for all their care and support.
