Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia Ann Jones, age 65, of Fairfield Twp., passed away at her residence on Wednesday June 6, 2007. She was born in Butler County on August 16, 1941 the daughter of Robert and Sally M. (Gabbard) Sandlin. Patricia was employed at Monsanto for 19 years, retiring in 1987. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. On August 8, 1968 in Newport, Kentucky she married James B. Jones who passed away on August 2, 2005.

She is survived by three children, Kim (Donald) Gentry, Randy (Mary) Garrett, and James B. Jones II, all of Hamilton; stepdaughter, Tari (Richard) Elim of Augusta, Georgia; a granddaughter, Ashley (Mark Lykins) Garrett; a great-grandson, Luke; three step-grandchildren, Brian, Nikki, and Brittany; two sisters, Catherine (Gary) Rose of Liberty Township and Brenda Jean Sandlin of Fairfield Township; two half-brothers, Paul Sandlin and Eli Sandlin, both of Hamilton; dear friends Cindy and Wilbur Allen of Fairfield Township; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Keith Gebhart and Chaplain Dennis Betts officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Patricia’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sternberg and his staff, and the staff of Vitas Hospice, especially Pamela Allen.
