Patricia Ann "Patty" Jones

Patricia Ann "Patty" Jones, age 72 of Hamilton went to paradise to wait for the resurrection at Heartland of Woodridge on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 4:10 A.M. She will later stand at the judgment and receive her glorious reward of living with her father in heaven eternally. She was born in Hamilton on December 5, 1939 the daughter of Oscar and Fannie Bell (Allen) Jones. She was educated in the public schools of Hamilton and Ross. Patty was employed as a cook at Isgro’s Italian Restaurant for 18 years and was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Patty especially loved her longtime friends Bob and Becky Kolling, and Lee Maloney. Her hobbies included roller skating and doing jigsaw puzzles with her brother John. She very much loved her family. God blessed us by giving this sweet, gentle angel for a sister, sister-in-law, and friend.

She is survived by five brothers; James (Betty) Jones and John (Bonny) Jones, of Hamilton, Gary (Dianna) Jones of Seven Mile, Darrell Jones and Richard (Kathy) Jones, both of Hamilton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and special friends; Evelyn June Jones and Tammy Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ronald Jones, Oscar Kenneth Jones, and Harold Edward Jones.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati and sister-in-law, Kathy Jones for their generous care and support, and the nursing aides at Heartland of Woodridge who took special care of Patty.
