Patricia A. Renners

Patricia A. Renners, age 73 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, March 13, 2016.She was born in Hamilton on February 17, 1943 to LeRoy and Alberta (Hartig) Renners. She was educated at St. Ann School, graduating from Notre Dame High School in 1961, and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1964. Patricia worked at Mercy North and later Mercy Fairfield for over 44 years, in ICU, Infectious Disease Control, and lastly in Discharge Planning.

Patricia was a lifelong and devoted member of St. Ann Church, Church Choir, and Rosary Society. She was a member and past president of the Altrusa Club.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Huber; brother, Jim (Neva) Renners; and 8 nieces and nephews, Jim Peck, Kimberly (Guy) Campbell, Amy (Tony) Humbert, Tricia (Todd) Simmons, Matt (Katie) Renners, Sheryl (Robbie) Lotton, Cindy (Brian) Clapp, and Jeff (Angie) Huber; many great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a niece, Baerbel Peck.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3028 Pleasant Avenue, on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Larry Tharp, celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ann Catholic Church or to Hospice of Hamilton. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her nurse Sue, and her aide Carrie at Hospice for their care and compassion.
