Patsy Darlene Cunningham

Patsy Darlene Cunningham, age 58 of Hamilton passed away after a five-year battle with cancer at Vitas Hospice, Dayton, on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 6:45 PM. She was born in Hamilton on February 14, 1951 the daughter of Virgil and Grace (Brown) Scott. In 1968 in Hamilton she married Robert Cunningham.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Cunningham of Dayton; three children, Scott (Ashley) Cunningham of Kettering, Nicholas (Miranda) Cunningham of Oxford, and Lorinda (Mike) Dodson of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Casey Chestnut and Jackie Tillett; two great-grandchildren, Cynthia Justice and Haylee Fisher; a brother, Virgil Scott Jr. of Missouri; a niece, Jennifer (Tim) Lewis of Hamilton; and two great-nephews, Matt Gevedon and Jimmy James Purvis. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Scott; her mother, Grace Scott-Marcum; and three sisters, Cynthia Carpenter, Joann Warren, and Carolyn Brannum.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
