Patsy Jean “PJ” Owens, age 76, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Hospice of Hamilton. PJ was born on August 31, 1945 in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Reading High School and Bowling Green University. PJ mastered many diverse occupations retiring from Procter and Gamble in 2011.
She is survived by her husband, George Manooses, her sisters Peggy Hughes and Lee Campbell, her brother Jim Owens, her nieces Maranda Hughes, Tina Bradley and Amber Weinel and her nephews Keith Campbell and James Owens. Preceding PJ were her parents, Hoyt and Lola Owens and her niece, Lauren Campbell.
PJ loved learning, reading and deep conversations with friends and family.
She was an amazing writer with a great sense of humor and wrote and sold jokes to Phyllis Diller to help pay her way through college.
She was thoughtful and generous and was always willing to help friends and family in need. She instilled a love for travel and endless possibilities.
PJ brought happiness, life lessons, adventure and love to those who knew her.
