Paul Matthew Koelblin

Paul Matthew Koelblin, age 30, of Hamilton passed away at University Hospital, Cincinnati on Thursday July 2, 2009. He was born in Hamilton on April 24, 1979 the son of Randy C. and Brenda Sue (Lewis) Koelblin. Paul loved to listen to music, especially Phish and The Grateful Dead. He attended over 200 concerts, 68 in one summer.

He is survived by his father, Randy Koelblin of Hamilton; four brothers, Mike (fiancée Casey) Koelblin, Randy C. Koelblin Jr., Johnny (Allison) Koelblin and Andrew Koelblin all of Hamilton; special friends, Joe, Nick, Smurf, and Scott; dear girlfriend Raynese Dillon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Sue Koelblin.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Sunday July 5th at 1:00 PM with Pastor Greg Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The family strongly suggest in lieu of flowers memorials be made to The Paul Koelblin Memorial Fund, c/o the funeral home. Paul’s family extends a special thank you to the entire staff of the Critical Care Unit at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, especially Dr. Sternberg and nurses Marna and Bev. You treated our loved one as if a member or your family, for which we are very thankful.
