Paul Metcalf

Paul Anderson Metcalf, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015. He was born in Madison County, KY on November 22, 1924 to Gordon and Bertha (Murphy) Metcalf. Paul retired from Ford in 1986. He and his wife, Janet, sister Delores and her husband Bill, enjoyed traveling the country together.

He is survived by his children, Paula Metcalf, Rebecca Metcalf, and Noel (Julie) Metcalf, his grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Chadwell, Matthew Hildebrand, Andrew (Carol) Hildebrand, Emily (Jonathan) Fox, Andrew Mcree, and Samuel Metcalf, his great grandchildren, Madeline, Laura, Penelope, Alexander, and Stella, his siblings, William Guy Metcalf and Delores Cordrey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Janet I. Metcalf, his siblings, Don Metcalf and Marjorie Metcalf, and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 2 PM with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating. Burial will follow at Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 12-2 PM at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
