Paul E. Weatherwax

Paul E. "Waxy" Weatherwax , age 75 of Middletown, passed away at the Atrium Medical Center on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 7:38am. Paul was born in Middletown, Ohio on January 18, 1951 to Robert Paul Weatherwax and Penny (Hagopian) Weatherwax. On October 31, 1970 he married Katherine Blankenship. Paul retired from AK Steel after 30 years. After his retirement, Paul worked as the ground crew supervisor at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, OH for 10 years. In his free time, Paul enjoyed spectating Nascar and racing Jeeps.

Paul is survived by his wife, Kathy Weatherwax, a son Robert Paul (Amanda) Weatherwax, a daughter Penny (Tim) Stewart, a sister, Robin Weatherwax, four grandchildren; Miles, Brendon, Mary, and Ross, and a nephew, Bobby (Maggie) Minatra. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Yeppy Farhaden, two sisters Ann Marie Weatherwax, and Christine (Phil) Minatra.

Funeral service will be held at West Side Church of Christ, 625 Hart Road, Lebanon, Ohio on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Minister Michael Dawson of West Side Church of Christ officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at West Side Church of Christ. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
