Paul Richard White

Paul Richard White, age 81 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. He was born in Hamilton on November 9, 1929 the son of Elmer and Gladys (Dahms) White. Paul was a 1947 graduate of Fairfield High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952 to 1954. He was employed as a milk man for 25 years, followed by 19 years as a vending supervisor. Paul was a member of First Church of God and was inducted into the Butler County Softball Hall of Fame in 1994. On November 20, 1948 he married Alberta Hollin and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta White; a daughter, Pauletta (Bill) Gray; a son, Richard (Diane) White; two sisters, Erma (Skeeter) Hann and Janice (Darrell) Baker; four grandchildren, Tracy (Chris) Hurd, Bryan Gray, Jillian Adler, and Jordan Adler; and four great-grandchildren, Courtney, Corey and Cassidy Hurd, and Kelsey Gray. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held 10am until time of service (12noon), Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park, with Pastor Ron Kulp officiating.
