Pauline L. Cook

Pauline L. Cook, age 84, passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on March 14, 1930 to Claude and Ida (Gray) Johnson. On October 26, 1950 in Hamilton she married Paul M. Cook Jr., who preceded her in death in 1988.

She is survived by her children, Paul (Angela) Cook, Marchell (Rhonda Williams) Cook, and Marsha (Ray) Carberry; a brother, O.D. Johnson; sisters, Rose Quinlan, and Billie (Joe) Stanley; 11 grandchildren, Karene Mills, Shawn Osner, Jennifer Harrison, Christopher Cook, Gabe Cook, Hanna Cook, Sarah Cook, Emily Cook, Sarah Spiller, Ella Carberry, and Joey Carberry; 18 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cook Jr; a son, Perry Cook; four sisters, Irene O'roark, Glenna Payne, Louise Ulrich, and Tea Langsdale; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jerome Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Clair Township Fire Department in her honor. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hawthorne Glen for their care and compassion.
