Pauline Goosey, age 82 of Hamilton passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 8:35 PM. She was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky on January 5, 1927 the daughter of James Daniel and Mamie (Wagner) Earlywine. Pauline was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and loved gardening, quilting, and spending time with her family. On August 27, 1966 in Hamilton she married Wilson Goosey, and he preceded her in death in November, 2000.
She is survived by two sons, Robert (Sandra) Goosey of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and William (Sharon) Goosey of London, Kentucky; two daughters, Anita (Robert) Gronas of Hamilton and Sandra Nieman of Cincinnati; two sisters, Ruby Tolliver of Millersburg, Kentucky and Shirley Hadley of Paris, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Shanklin Stone; a brother, Marvin Earlywine; and three sisters, Narnie Earlywine, Thelma Frederick, and Lillian Clark.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
