Peggie Sue (Harper) Young

Peggie Sue Harper Young, age 82 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away at Golden Years Nursing Center on Friday, December 3, 2021. Peggie was born in Epps, Louisiana on December 8, 1938, the daughter of Lawrence and Rachel Stewart Harper. On August 17 ^th she celebrated 64 years of marriage to Jerry Ray Young. She faithfully served in ministry with her husband in Texas, Mississippi, Michigan, Louisiana and Tennessee. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God and member of the Unity Class. Honored to be a member of the GANG, lifelong friends, the Porters, Taylors, Beattys, Williams and Andersons. She was a wonderful mother who valued Christ, family and the church. Both of her children and all grandchildren serve Christ and the church. All nieces and nephews know Christ and value their heritage.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Harper and sister, Regina Antley.

Survivors are son, Michael Young and his wife, Donna of Brighton, MI. Daughter, Lisa Weaver and her husband, Alan of Hamilton, OH.  Her sisters, Love Anderson and husband, Delbert of Cleveland, TN, sister, Donna Fike of Powell, TN. She had five grandchildren, Aaron, Nickolas, Bethany, Stephanie and Andrew and nine great grandchildren. Brother-in-law, Larry Young and his wife, Rebecca of Grapevine, TX. Many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013.  Visitation from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Funeral service at 5:30 PM.  Officiating minister Travis Porter, Mack Streun and Alan Weaver.
