Peggy E. Bridge

Peggy E. Bridge, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 28, 1934 the daughter of Coy and Edith (Conrad) Baker. On February 10, 1951, in Liberty, Indiana she married her husband of seventy years, Stuart Bridge and he preceded her in death in 2021. Peggy was employed as a dental recovery assistant for Dr. Weaver and Dr. Bowermaster for numerous years, retiring in the early 90’s. Peggy and Stuart were very active in the New Miami Athletics and Boosters, and she was inducted into the New Miami Hall of Fame for her involvement with the Boosters. They enjoyed attending any extra curricular activities, that their children and grandchildren were involved in and camping.

Peggy is survived by five sons, Ronald (Diana) Bridge, Donald (Regina) Bridge, Daniel Bridge, Terry (Mary) Bridge, and Timothy (June) Bridge; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and their loving and faithful dog, Teddy. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her only daughter, Cheryl Thorne; daughter-in-law, Debbie Bridge; grandson, Sean Dougherty; two great grandsons, Coty and Chase Baker; and two brothers, Kenny and Mike Baker.

Visitation will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Trenton, 305 Cypress Ave, Trenton, Ohio, on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Peggy’s name to the First Baptist Church of Trenton.
