Peggy Jo Flynn

Peggy Jo Flynn, age 88 of Seven Mile, passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Peggy was born in Jellico, Tennessee on March 6, 1937 to Leland and Nettie Jane York. On May 7, 1954, she married the love of her life, Marvin L. Flynn in Liberty, Indiana. Together they raised their five children. She was a proud momma and mamaw. Peggy’s love and care extended to many children she babysat throughout the years and took care of, in the nursery at Princeton Pike Church of God.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 71 years, Marvin L. Flynn; her children, Linda (Steve) Bennett, Bobbie Jo (Sandy) Flynn, Deana (Debbie) Flynn, Marvin A. (Angie) Flynn and Tom (Kathy) Flynn; her 6 grandchildren; her 6 great-grandchildren; her in-laws, Adrian, Jerry, Carol and Sylvia; and many friends and family. Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Jane York and step-father, Leland York.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Cheryl "Gidget" Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
