Peter F. Hasler

Peter F. Hasler, age 64 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 2:35 PM. He was born in Hamilton on July 20, 1945 the son of Ralph and Louise (Prentice) Hasler. Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era from 1964 to 1968 and was employed as a data systems operator at General Electric for 40 years, retiring in 2009. On January 27, 1979 in Mt. Healthy, he married Vickie L. Frede.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie L. Hasler of Hamilton; four sons, Kenneth W. (Crissy) Hasler of Trenton, Kevin S. Mofield of Hamilton, Matthew A. Mofield of Trenton, and Nathan E. Hasler of Hamilton; eight grandchildren, Nick, Micayla, Jacob, Logan, Evan, Hailey, Alison, and Jonathan; two brothers, James (Barbara) Hasler of Wilmington and Dave (Kimberly) Hasler of Florida; his little sister, Jean; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Hasler.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
