Petrina Fenster

Fenster, Petrina (nee Sorvare), age 92 passed away February 4. She was born in Calumet, Michigan on March 25, 1917. Petrina was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and taught painting for 20 years. She married George H. Fenster, and he preceded her in death on February 9, 1974.

She is survived by three sons, George R. (Janis) Fenster of Hamilton, James (Linda) Fenster and Robert (Natalie) Fenster, both of Cincinnati; 9 grandchildren, Richard (Melissa) Fenster, Mike (Kelly) Fenster, Kami (Brian) Tirey, Sara Fenster, Jami (Mike) Distel, Emily Fenster, Jennifer (Mark) Kinnett, Ryan Helton, and Randy (Kara) Helton; 17 great-grandchildren; and wonderful students whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kelly Fenster.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Spring Grove Memorial Mausoleum, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, on Wednesday, February 10 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Cincinnati.
