Phyllis Alicea

Phyllis Taylor Alicea, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on December 24, 1942 to Trigg and Eary (Thomas) Pendergrass. Phyllis was employed at Duffy’s Napa Valley Rehab in California for over 20 years, relocating back to her hometown of Hamilton, Ohio in 2012. She attended Calvary Christian Center.

She is survived by her son Todd Taylor, Michael Alicea, and her loving daughter Sandi (Jim) Beglin, grandchildren Tye, Erin, Brenden, Anthony, Chauneece, Isabella, Malik, Sammie, Johnny, Jimmy and Rocky; sisters Bernice, Carol, and brother Michael; beloved niece Tina (Mike) Wright and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carlos, two brothers, and a sister.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 7 PM with Rev. Dana Pendergrass officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 6-7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made on her behalf to the American Diabetes Association.
