Phyllis J. Brandenburg

Phyllis J. Brandenburg, age 71 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 8:00 PM. She was born in Cincinnati on May 17, 1938 the daughter of Oscar and Lela (Wilson) Hensley. On August 20, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana she married Jack L. Brandenburg, and he preceded her in death in 2006.

She is survived by a son, Jack L. Brandenburg II of Cincinnati; a daughter, Kathy (Steven) Graham of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Julie Graham, Steven Graham, and Amanda Graham; two brothers, Earl (Wanda) Hensley of Batavia and Harold (Nora) Hensley of Cleves; two sisters, Janet (Jimmy) Ison of Cincinnati and Bert (Bill) Strunk of Seven Mile; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Maggard of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Pastor James Mousie of Riverview Baptist Church, Franklin, Ohio officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
