Phyllis M. Hampton

Phyllis M. Hampton, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Phyllis was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 11, 1943, to Clifford Bunger and Blanche Bunger. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she was a proud mother from sun up to sun down her whole life.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Teresa (Bill) Barkley, Kevin Hampton, Shawn (Susan) Hampton, Chad Hampton, Scott Hampton, Tammy Garrett, and Eric (Erin) Hampton; her grandchildren, Ryan, Danielle, Victoria, Andrew, Zachary, Austin, Ashton, Devon, Shane, Elisha, Lillian, Gracie, Danielle, Libby, and Joey; many great grandchildren; and a dear niece, Kim Hyatt. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Blanche Bunger; her husband, Larry Michael Hampton; her two sons, Curtis (Melissa) Hampton and Larry Todd Hampton; and many siblings.

Graveside service will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery, Morganthaler Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Coning of Dream Center officiating.
