Priscilla "Pert" Parsley

Priscilla "Pert" Parsley, age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Berkeley Square Health Care on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:50 AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 4, 1926 the daughter of William and Grace (Sellers) Robison. Pert was employed as a nurse’s aide at Fort Hamilton Hughes Hospital for six years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton. On June 11, 1955 in Hamilton, she married Robert S. Parsley.

She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Parsley of Hamilton; a son, Robert Lee (Betty) Parsley of Hamilton; three daughters, Minnie (Daniel) Adamson of Georgetown, Ohio, Betty Anglin (Jack) Ledbetter of Farmington, New Mexico, and Joyce Vaughn of Owensville, Ohio; a brother, Albert Robison of Hamilton; two sisters, Roselie Chism of Hamilton and Charlotte Parker of Cincinnati; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John William Martin; a brother, Charles Robison; and three sisters, Helen Jordan, Marzella Murphy, and Susan Eubanks.

Funeral service will be held at the Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton, 719 Kenworth Avenue, on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM.
