R. C. Eversole

R. C. Eversole, age 71, of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday March 21, 2009. He was born in London, Kentucky on October 9, 1937 the son of Robert and Ethel (Morgan) Eversole. R. C. was a driver for Overpeck Trucking for 30 years retiring in 2003. He married Georgia Gray in Jellico, Tennessee, and she passed away April 27, 2002.

He is survived by two sons, Larry (Debbie) Compston of Atlanta, Georgia and Darryl (Mary) Eversole of Fairfield; a daughter, Lori (Tiger) Payne of Hamilton; 6 grandchildren, Tony, Craig, Chad, Chris, Mason, and Kristen; 7 great-grandchildren, Mariah, Taylor, Audrey, McKenzie, Landyn, Gracelyn, and Riley; three brothers, Merle Eversole of New Miami, Jim (Sharon) Eversole and Gene "Ed" (Della) Brock both of Hamilton; and two sisters, Jessie Ehret of Upland, California and Naomi Lincks of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Barbara Gail Eversole; and two brothers, Larry Eversole and Robert Eversole Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday March 24th at 10:00 AM with Pastor Luke Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. R. C.’s family extends a heart felt thank you to Dr. Lang and the staff of Oncology/Hematology Care for their love and friendship, and a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Hamilton.
