Rae J. Jones

Rae J. Jones, age 62 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Rae was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 10, 1959 to Oliver Earl Pence Sr. and Bertha (Thompson) Pence. She married Dennis Jones on May 26, 1989 in Hamilton, Ohio. Rae played softball for many years with her sister, Brenda, and she enjoyed watching her grandchildren at their sporting events. Rae truly enjoyed spending time with her immediate and extended family around the holidays. She was greatly loved, especially by her mother and father-in-law, Doris and Walter Jones. Rae loved spending time with her devoted dogs and granddogs. Rae is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dennis Jones; two children, Amber (Brian Baker) Jones, and Steve Jones; six grandchildren, Owen Baker, Issac Baker, Everett Blankenship, Vivian Baker, Charles Baker, and Mikhail Baker; one sister, Brenda Hale; in-laws, Doris and Walter Jones; and numerous other relatives and friends. Rae was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Clara Pence, and Connie Pence; and five brothers, David Pence, Ernest Pence, Everett Pence, Oliver Earl Pence Jr, and Steve Pence. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Scott Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
