Ralph Bauereiss

Ralph "Jim" Bauereiss, age 62 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 3:25 AM. He was born in Hamilton on June 13, 1948 the son of Ralph B. H. and Margaret (Leonard) Bauereiss. Jim was the owner/operator of RJ Brothers Heating and Cooling and was a member of The West Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hamilton. On August 22, 1970, in Hamilton, he married Nita Sparrow.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Bauereiss of Hamilton; a son, Scot Bauereiss of Hamilton; two daughters, Amie (Bob) Shrout and Nicole Bauereiss of Hamilton; two brothers, John (Nellie) Bauereiss of Hamilton and Tim (Rose) Bauereiss of Tampa, Florida; a nephew, Justin (Chrissy) Bauereiss of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five nieces, Terri (Jimmy) Holland of Osprey, Florida, Amber Hansen, Christy (John) Jensen, both of Venice, Florida, Chris Bauereiss, and Corinne Bauereiss, both of Hamilton; Cindy Sheppard of Hamilton; and was known as Papa Jim to Jessa, Breana, Leticia, Christian, and Gabriella. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bonnie Sayers; a brother-in-law, Tom Sayers; and a nephew, Johnny Bauereiss.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 4:00 PM with Lamar Hosting officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Bennett Blitzer and the entire staff of 4 South at Christ Hospital.
