Ralph Lee Brown

Ralph Lee Brown, age 62 of McAlester, Oklahoma, formerly of Hamilton, passed away at the Southwestern Medical Center on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 3:30 PM. He was born in London, Kentucky on January 1, 1947 the son of William and Anna (Witt) Brown. Ralph was employed as a plumber in McAlester, Oklahoma for 33 years and was currently the owner and operator of Brown Plumbing Company. He was also a pilot for The Civil Air Patrol.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Brown-Norman of Fairfield; one son, Mike Brown of Fairfield; step-son, James Walker of Hamilton; one brother, Bill (Lill) Brown of McAlester, Oklahoma; three sisters, Betty Doyle of Whitehouse, Texas, Brenda (Robert) Schimpf of Hamilton, and Angela Brown-Oakley of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Cody Brown and Kayla Webber; one great-grandson, Tanner; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Brown; father, William Brown; and sister, Judith Ann McFarland.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Howard Murray of Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
