Ralph Edward Knox

Ralph Edward Knox, age 56 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 11:44 AM. He was born in Ft. Knox, Kentucky on March 15, 1953 the son of Edward and Wanda (Norton) Knox. Eddie was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974 where he served as a radar repairman during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as an electrician for various companies. Eddie attended St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. On July 4, 1973 in Germany, he married Pati Grandinetti.

He is survived by his wife, Pati Knox of Hamilton; two sons, Kristopher Edward Knox and Thomas Edward Knox, both of Hamilton; his father, Edward Knox of Hamilton; two brothers, Melvin (Kay) Knox of Seven Mile and Billy Nugent of Fairfield; a sister, Tammy (Floyd) Scott of Hamilton; his in-laws, Ray and Judy Deaver of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
