Randall J. Frost

Randall J. Frost, age 65 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 7, 2014. He was born in Hamilton on October 8, 1949 the son of Robert and Esther (Butts) Frost. He was a member of Moose Lodge # 36.

He is survived by three sisters, Marcia (Roger) Baker of Hamilton, Barbara (Brian) Begley and Monica (Brad) Rose, both of Fairfield; nieces, Nancy (James) Wellinghoff, Tammy (Kenny) Proffitt, Kaitlyn and Lyndsay Begley, Hailee, Jordon and Sydney Rose; great nephew, Cody Proffitt; great neice, Emily Proffitt; cousins, Dick Rust, Jane Conrad, and Gary and David Reister. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Frost and mother, Esther Atchison.

Randy graduated from Garfield High School in 1968. He was a very sensitive person and had strong feelings against crime and corruption. He was very patriotic. Randy loved animals (special dog "Moppy"), sports, especially fishing, growing tomatoes and spending time with his friends. Among them his lifelong best friend, Steve (Bobbi Jean) Rutherford and many other special friends including the "Pub" family. You’ve all done so many wonderful things for him, from getting him to a Doctor that gave him a second chance to bringing him food, sending cards, taking him to Doctors and hospitals, having birthday parties, Thanksgiving Dinners, going on fishing trips, making sure he had the things he needed during heart problems and his knee replacement and just spending time with him. His friends meant the world to him. We are thankful for all your love and support.

He also loved his family and had a special bond with another best friend, our mom.

While living in Florida, Randy worked with our step dad building, plumbing, and tiling swimming pools. He made some good friends in Florida as well. When back in Hamilton he worked for Watson’s plumbing spas and later worked for the Fairfield School System.

Randy is missed so much by his family and friends, but he certainly left us with wonderful fun and happy memories. He was a great son and brother. A special guy.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
