Randall Jackson, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Randall was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on July 11, 1940 to Arnold Jackson and Anna Mae Bingham Jackson. Randall married Linda Logan on November 26, 1960 in Barbourville, Kentucky. He worked and retired from Western States Machine Company. Randall was a beloved coach and umpire of a multitude of youth in baseball, softball, soccer and basketball in Lindenwald. He was an avid sports fan who loved UK, OSU, Reds and Bengals, but his favorite games to watch were those of his children and grandchildren. Randall "Jackson of All Trades" was also a handyman who willingly helped anyone in need. He loved the outdoors, sunshine and especially his garden. Randall loved the Lord and was a great supporter of Master’s Touch Ministries. He was kind, caring, hardworking and family focused. He not only gave to his family and loved them beyond measure, he also gave of himself to those around. He was a man of few words but his actions changed the world.
Randall is survived by his devoted wife, Linda, who selflessly cared for Randall throughout their entire marriage, especially during his 20 year battle with Parkinson’s disease. He is also survived by his children, Curtis (Karen) Jackson, Bryan (Sandy) Jackson and Christa (Doug) Slade; grandchildren, Tyler (Bethany) Carpenter, Courtney (Craig) Baker, Chase Jackson, Brooke (Michael) Upole, Lauren (Chris) Johannemann, Alex Dixon and Elly Dixon; great grandchildren, Briella, Geneveive, Josephine, Eli and Caroline; sisters, Lillian Fisher and JoAnne Cheek; brother-in-law, James Payne; siblings through marriage, Duane (Cleta), Max (Lorene), Doug (the late Lynne), Malena (Steve), John (Patti) and numerous nieces and nephews. Randall was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Anna Mae Jackson; brothers, Ray and Lonnie (Cleta) Jackson; sister, Sue Payne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio with funeral service to immediately follow. Memorial contributions can be made to Master’s Touch Ministries at www.masterstouchministries.org.
