Randall S. Mayer

Randall S. Mayer, age 24 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was born in Hamilton on July 11, 1989 to Scott Mayer and Peggy Colwell. Randall graduated from Monroe High School in 2007. He enjoyed playing basketball, the outdoors, and was an avid UK Wildcats fan. Randall was employed with his family at their West Chester auto shop. Randall was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger and made friends with everyone he met.

He is survived by his mother Peggy Mullins, father Scott Mayer, grandparents Herman Colwell, Mark and Lois Frye, Craig and Sharon Mayer; siblings Crystal Hancock (Billy), Britany Wisecup, and Koby Kessel; nieces Kaylee,Riley and Lillian, nephews Zachary, Nicholas, and Christoper, aunts and uncles Shannon and Shelly Yeager, Shane Mayer (Melissa), Stephanie and Michael Nah, James Colwell (Bobbie), Carol Colwell; and cousins Michael Nash, Lauren Mayer, Casey Larkin, Matthew and Morgan Yeager; also survived by numerous close friends, especially Kirsten and Tanner. He was preceeded in death by grandmother Lucy Colwell, aunt Lana Colwell, uncle Herman Colwell Jr.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11 AM with Pastor Ron Howard of Morning Star Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
