Ray Hibbard

Ray Hibbard, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away with his wife at his side, on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Ray was born in Manchester, Kentucky on May 14, 1936 to Frank and Miranda (nee Philpot) Hibbard. Ray retired as a Union Carpenter, he was a licensed auctioneer, and a 32nd Degree Free Mason. One of Ray’s major achievements included the building of "The Beast" at Kings Island.

Ray is survived by his wife of 32 years, Norah Hibbard; his children, Karen Jean (Daniel) Reid-Bond, Ray Douglas Hibbard, Glen Tarlton Hibbard; his step-children, Sherry Anne Mick, Diane Mick, Gary James (Julie) Mick; his grandchildren, Brandon, Danielle, Amanda, Samantha, Jessica; his 4 great grandchildren; his siblings, Vernon Hibbard and Martha Pearl Riccardi; and many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Lisa Beatrice Hibbard; his sisters, Edna Woods, Lou Hyde, and Mae Hibbard; his brothers, Charlie, Roy, Virgil, and Ernest Hibbard.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Zach Hibbard officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
