Raymond U. Conlin

Raymond U. Conlin, age 99 of Hamilton, passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Monday, May 28, 2018. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 29, 1919 the son of William and Helena (Kurry) Conlin. Ray was a veteran of World War II with the United States Army from 1942 to 1945. On October 2, 1948 in Hamilton he married Mary F. Day. Ray was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and a life member of the VFW Post 1069, Monkey Mutual Aid Society, and Knights of Columbus #968. He was employed as a metal polisher and retired from Southern Ohio Steel.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Mary Conlin; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William, Owen, and Forest Conlin; and two sisters, Winifred Gluhm and Helen Stinger.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Father James Wedig, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Queen of Peace Church or the VFW Post 1069, 465 Patterson Blvd., Fairfield 45014.
