Raymond Hounchell, age 77 of Fairfield, passed away at Veranda Gardens Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Raymond was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 11, 1941 to William Hounchell and Elizabeth "Betty" Conrad Hounchell. He married Sandra L. Osborne Oct 21, 1961 in Hamilton OH. Raymond was a US Army Veteran. He retired from the Fairfield Police Department in 1997 after 28 years of service and was a member of the FOP #166 lodge.
Raymond is survived by his son, Chad (Cindy) Hounchell; daughter, Traci (Chris) Onkst; grandchildren, Austin, Adam, Mikayla, Megan, Elliana, Jake and Peyton. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandra L Hounchell; sister, Jacquelin Kay Simpson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery Monday December 24, 2018 at 11:00am. Memorial contributions can be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
