Raymond Miller

Raymond Miller, age 88 of Xenia, formerly of Hamilton, passed away at Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia, on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 8:50 AM. He was born in Hamilton on September 29, 1926 the son of Charles and Betty (Harris) Miller. Raymond was a veteran of World War II with the United States Navy. He retired from Rose Hill Burial Park after 27 years of employment in sales. On November 28, 1958 in Winter Haven California he married Ruth Gross who preceded him in death in 2001. Raymond was a proud member of Xenia Christian Center.

He is survived by five children, Wesley Wayne (Nancy) Miller of Cedarville, Ohio; Raymond Jay (Donna) Miller of Hamilton, Pamela Jean Carmody, Tracey Darren (Sara) Miller of Dublin, Ohio, and Renee Kay Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana; five children from a previous marriage, Michael, John, Sharon, Jeffrey, and James Miller; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepdaughter, Judith Ann Pabst; and six siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Miller and Rev. Johnny Wade Sloan officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
