Raymond Swindoll

Raymond Swindoll, age 58, of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Monday, January 14, 2008. He was born in Winona, Mississippi on August 9, 1949 the son of James "Totem" and Mary Sue (Stoker) Swindoll. Raymond was a former employee of Continental Can, Libby Cannery, Hamilton Taxi, and Miami University Metro Service.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Colwell of Middletown; two sisters, Judy (Don) Gross of Middletown and Brenda Johnson of Hamilton; his step-mother, Donna Swindoll of Hamilton; friends, Mary Wegman and Jason Bennett, both of Hamilton; faithful companion, his dog Pooch; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a niece, Leisha.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Elder Antoine Smiley of Christ Temple Church of God in Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM.
