Rebecca A. Finch

Rebecca A. Finch, age 65 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, December 25, 2009 at 10:40 PM with her two sons by her side. She was born in Hamilton on August 3, 1944 the daughter of Edward and Florence (Montgomery) Holstein. Rebecca was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. On January 30, 1964 in Spartanburg, South Carolina she married Richard Paul Reed, and he preceded her in death in 1981; on September 8, 1991 in Jellico, Tennessee she married Terry Finch, and he preceded her in death in 1996.

She is survived by two sons, Randall (Angela Lee) Reed of Hamilton and Mark (Carol) Reed of Marysville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Randall Reed of Hamilton, and Michael, Matthew, and Susanna Reed of Marysville; three brothers, Tommy (Sandy) Holstein of Cincinnati, Arnie (Phyllis) Holstein of Hamilton, and Larry (Barbara) Holstein of Fairfield; three sisters, Marcella (Joe) Their, Carol (Larry) Moss, and Donna (Jerry) Woodrey, all of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Mary Jo Holstein.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dr. Robert D. Ingram of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
