Rev. Olen T. Breedwell

Rev. Olen T. Breedwell, Sr. age 72 of Trenton passed away at Atrium Medical Center on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at 3:53 PM. He was born in Scottsboro, Alabama on May 15, 1936 the son of Gilbert and Georgia (Johnson) Breedwell. Rev. Breedwell was employed as a truck driver for Freight and Crate, retiring in 1975 and was a member of Full Gospel Church. On October 4, 1986 in Miamisburg, Ohio he married Bonnie Hensley.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Breedwell of Trenton; five sons, Olen T. Breedwell Jr. of Cincinnati, James D. Breedwell of Tennessee, Perry Michael Breedwell, Rob A. (Tracy) Breedwell, both of Cincinnati, and Wallace Noel of Springfield, Ohio; two daughters, Patricia R. Shepard of Frankfort, Kentucky and Kelly A. Breedwell of Cincinnati; a stepdaughter, Sarah (Steve) Fall of Pinckney, Michigan; four stepsons, John Dawson of Hamilton, David (Linda) Dawson of Trenton, Jeffrey (Allison) Dawson of Hamilton, and Greg (Angie) Dawson of West Chester; three brothers, Ray (Ethel) Breedwell of Florida, Ed Breedwell of Chicago, Illinois, and Benny Breedwell of Louisiana; a sister, Jean Holcomb of Florida; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Barbara Woody; two brothers, Wallace Breedwell and Martin Johnson; a sister, Patricia Rose Ragland; and a grandson, Gregory Robert Dawson.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Louise Hyatt, Pastor Full Gospel Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
