Rev. Daniel Boone Davenport

Rev. Daniel Boone Davenport, age 89 of Fairfield, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. Daniel was born in Barboursville, Kentucky on May 6, 1927 to John Davenport and Nancy (Fields) Davenport. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving in WWII in the European Theater. Daniel loved to fish, hunt, and was an avid sports enthusiast. He was a Sunday School teacher and a dedicated evangelist for many years.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Edna Davenport; his children, Faye Allen, Carol (Fred) Isaacs, Sharon (Frank) Quan, Pamela Bushey, Darryl Davenport, Randy (Kathleen) Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his siblings, Arliss (Theresa) Davenport, Hobert (Glenda) Davenport, Kenneth (Charlene) Davenport, Mavis Davenport Engel, Pauline Davenport Patterson. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, John Davenport and Nancy Davenport; his siblings, Estel Davenport, Genarra Adams.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Wayne Ison officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
