Rev. Robert C. Pincombe

September 20, 1940 — February 7, 2011

Rev. Robert C. Pincombe, age 70 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 2:01 AM. He was born in Onaway, Michigan on September 20, 1940 the son of Richard and Doris M. (Penfold) Pincombe. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962 and was employed as a machinist at Hamilton Tool for 27 years, retiring in 1997. He was the former associate and trustee at Happy Corner Pentecostal Church and a current member of Morning Star Christian Fellowship. Robert ministered to the residents at Tri-County Extended Care for over thirty years. On April 13, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan he married Carole Hensley.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Pincombe of Hamilton; four children, Robert (Dawn) Pincombe Jr. of Detroit, Michigan, Kenny S. (Shawn) Pincombe of Hamilton, DeeDee (Joe) Wilson of Shandon, and Robin A. (David) Cary of Ross; six grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, Dylan, Amanda (Ben), Tiffany and Alex; a brother, Ernie (Laura) Pincombe of Detroit, Michigan; a sister, Rita (Steven) Lord of Detroit, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Rose Pincombe of Detroit, Michigan; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Richard, Cal, and Clayton Pincombe.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Morning Star Christian Fellowship, 200 Belle Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45015, on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
