Rev. Paul Myron Vulgamore

Rev. Paul Myron Vulgamore, age 73 of Hamilton, went home to be with the lord at Jewish Hospital on Friday, September 14, 2018. He was born in Piketon, Ohio on July 21, 1945, the son of John Myron and Janice (Kneisley) Vulgamore. Paul was a veteran of Vietnam with the United States from 1970 to 1971. He received multiple medals: Bronze Star, National Defense Service, Vietnam Service, Army Commendation and a Combat Infantry Badge. He recieved a Purple Heart for being wounded in the line of duty. Paul attended Wayne Bible College and Ohio State University where he received his Associate Degree in Business. He was employed at Goodyear Atomic Corporation for two years.Paul was a minister, bible school teacher, and a devoted man of god. On January 30, 1999 in Hamilton he married his sweetheart, Carolyn Sue Sizemore.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Vulgamore; his three children, Myra Lynn (Kelly) Jackson, Jason David (Brenda) Vulgamore, and Sarah Virgina (Joe) Hurt; two stepchildren, April Sizemore and Steve Sizemore; thirteen grandchildren, Tyler, Felicia, Devin, Michael, Alexis, Kirsten, Landon, Ashley, Katelynn, Tyler, Jordan, Nicholas, and Alyssa; and seven great grandchildren, Landon, Aubrynn, Charlotte, Remmington, Zeke, Jacoby, and Mavis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Blake. He will be missed by all,especially by Carolyn, as he was the love of her life.

Funeral service will be held at Rivers of Life Church of God, 323 N. Riverside Drive, on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Wilma Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com
