Rex Douglas Jackson

Rex Douglas Jackson, age 60 of Middletown, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 12, 2022. Doug was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 31, 1961 to George Jackson and Mildred (Harbin) Evans. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.  Doug enjoyed playing darts, fishing, camping, and was a Notre Dame, Cincinnati Bengals, and University of Cincinnati Bearcats fan. Rex is survived by his daughter, Dalanie (Joseph Adkins) Young; his two grandchildren, Beckham Young and Olivia Adkins; his siblings, Mike (Sheri) Jackson, Donna Jo (Charles) Stidham, Jim (Melody) Jackson, Julie Sturgill, and Tammy Winkler; his step siblings, Carolyn (Darcy) Dennin, Peggy Bellamy, and Harold Birch; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Rex was preceded in death by his parents, George (Mary) Jackson and Mildred (Jim) Evans; two nieces, Dawanna Lynn York, and Breanne Marie Jackson; and his brother-in-law Burton Sturgill. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Roy Van Winkle officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Scotties Tavern in Middletown for all of their care and support.
