Richard L. Anderson, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Richard was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 20, 1942 to the late Laura Edna (Singleton) Anderson. After his mother’s untimely passing, he was raised by his grandparents, the late Edward and Sarah Singleton. Known to most as Andy, he worked for Kroger for over 20 years before becoming an independent distributor for McKee Baking. He was the Little Debbie guy for Middletown for more than 20 years, retiring in 2014. He was a dedicated Tennessee Volunteers fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and having lunch with his friends. Richard will be dearly missed by his daughter, Lisa Anderson; his brother-in-law, Milt (Marcia) Holstein; his nephew, Kevin (Sara) Holstein, his niece, Krista (Brad) Kuntz; his great nephews, Adam, Luke, Andrew, as well as many extended family members and close friends. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Carol Anderson; his brother, Larry Anderson; and his beloved grand-dog, Annie. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, with Rev. Dr. John Lewis of The Presbyterian Church of Hamilton officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton .
