Richard "Dick" Brown, age 70 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. He was born in Hamilton on December 26, 1941 the son of John and Marie (Eckstien) Brown. Dick was employed as a welder at Mosler Safe Company. On May 1, 1965 he married Diane Lewis. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Brown; children, Annie (Rick) Callahan, Joey (Jeff) Mullins, and Richard "Richie" Brown; siblings, Robert "Bob" (Mary) Brown, William "Bill" Brown, and Charles (Diane) Brown; grandchildren, Ryan Mullins, Holly (Zach) Whaley, and Tyler Mullins; many nieces, nephews and friends; and special nephew, Gerald "Butch" Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann "Sis" Kuhn; sister-in-law, Sue Brown; brother-in-law, Marvin Kuhn; and grandson, Ricky Callahan.
Visitation will be 9am until time of service (11am), Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, with Fr. Jeff Bacon of Queen of Peace Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery.
